Faith Evans is having some tax trouble. The former wife of rapper Notorious BIG was just issued a rather large tax lien from the State of California.
According to TMZ, the State of California Tax Franchise Board filed papers claiming Evans failed to pay taxes in California for 2008, 2009, and 2010. Her total tax debt is $60,357.17.
This isn’t the first time the R&B singer has had financial woes. According to SOHO.com, back in 2010 the IRS filed a $36,360 lien against Evans with the New York City Registrars office.
The IRS also filed a $119,821 lien against Evans with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds.
