Aaron Overfield, the guy who runs the website dedicated to legendary singer Nina Simone, has fired off an open letter taking issues with the way Simone will be portrayed and the casting of Zoe Saldana.
He even goes as far as to say that Saldana’s casting is racist due to her skin complexion and facial features are so different the person she will portray.
According to Overfield, the man who will portrayed in the biopic as Simone’s lover was an unabashed homosexual who never had any romantic interest in Simone or any other woman for that matter.
