Yung Berg is addressing reports about his involvement in an alleged robbery and being the victim of a severe beating during a house party in Los Angeles, CA, on Monday morning.

The alleged incident occurred around 2 AM, when four suspects entered the residential premises and drew their firearms. Berg is identified as one of two victims pistol-whipped. The thieves robbed eight individuals, making off with $10,000 in cash and jewelry.

In a self-recorded video, Berg has gone on record to voice his opinion and clear up the reported inaccuracies.

“It’s just not the right publicity, I wish y’all was talking about the album or talking about the motherf*cking mixtape or something like that,” he said. “What you got to know is I am fine, you see me? Jesus hands, I’m good. I’m straight, it’s nothing wrong with nobody. I’m still gorgeous, I love you mom, thank you for these good genes — sh*t happens, people can say anything about you in this game, you a celebrity, you know, so you gotta take the good with the bad…Stop paying attention to bullsh*t…I had to get up on here and let y’all know I’m straight…”

Berg, known for his hit single “Sexy Lady“ & his guest feature on Ray J’s, “Sexy Can I“, has dealt with several public mishaps. Most notably, he was slapped by fellow rapper Maino back in 2008.
