Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Rene Bonét released her new single, “The Way You Love Me,” today alongside her latest album, Flowers & Pearls. The eight-song project is available now on all streaming and download platforms through SRG-ILS, an imprint of Virgin Music and Universal Music Group.
“The Way You Love Me” brings a 1990s-inspired storytelling style to the forefront. The track focuses on recognizing and valuing genuine love, a sentiment Bonét delivers with clarity and emotional weight. The song is accompanied by a visual that closes with an unexpected twist.
Bonét described the project as a reflection of personal transformation. “‘Flowers are grown from the dirt and you have to dive to some of the deepest depths to get pearls,’” she said. “I believe I am the flower grown from the dirt and the pearl you have to dive deep to find.”
