Doja Cat has released the video for “Stranger,” the latest single from her fifth album Vie. Directed by Dave Meyers, the short film shows the singer skydiving in a wedding gown, fleeing across a barren landscape, and being struck by an arrow before the words “To Be Continued…” appear.
The visuals reference Hitchcock’s North by Northwest and Tarantino’s Kill Bill, with scenes of aerial pursuit and a chapel backdrop. Doja Cat appears in three wedding-inspired outfits, continuing her use of bridal imagery throughout the project.
The video’s themes connect to the Vie album cover, which features her suspended by a parachute she has said represents “curiosity, happiness, and adventure.” “Stranger” follows earlier videos for “Gorgeous” and “Jealous Type.”
The release coincided with a New York City launch event and announcement of her 2026 Tour Ma Vie world tour.
