AspireTV will premiere a new season of Downright Delicious With Yo-Yo tonight at 8 p.m. ET, the network announced. The series, which celebrates food and culture through the lens of hip-hop artist Yo-Yo, continues to highlight Black excellence and urban lifestyle.
In the season opener, Yo-Yo welcomes special guests Vinnie Brown of Naughty by Nature and actor Tobias Truvillion. Yo-Yo’s mother, Mama Mia, also joins the episode to share her own kitchen traditions.
The series follows Yo-Yo as she prepares a range of dishes, from Brazilian seafood stew to shrimp and rice noodle soup. The lineup this season includes Moqueca, One Pot Chili, Shrimp and Rice Noodle Soup, and Cabbage Asian Slaw Salad with Salmon.
aspireTV said the show offers “a great time with excellent company and bomb.com food,” reflecting Yo-Yo’s passion for hospitality and cooking.
