Apple TV+ released the trailer for season five of “For All Mankind,” the space drama from creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi.
The 10-episode season premieres March 27 with one episode, followed by weekly releases every Friday through May 29.
The story resumes in the 2010s, years after the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has expanded into a colony with thousands of residents. The settlement now serves as a launch point for missions deeper into the solar system.
As activity on Mars increases, pressure builds between settlers and Earth. Governments seek to impose law and order on the Red Planet. Residents push back, raising questions about autonomy and control.
Returning cast members include Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña, and Wrenn Schmidt.
New series regulars join the ensemble, including Mireille Enos, known for roles in The Killing and Hanna; Costa Ronin, who appeared in The Americans and Homeland; Sean Kaufman of The Summer I Turned Pretty; Ruby Cruz of Bottoms; and Ines Asserson of Royalteen.
“For All Mankind” continues its alternate-history narrative, examining the consequences of an extended space race and the human stakes of life beyond Earth.
