Bruce Dillon Gives a Classic Paid in Full a New Twist (Spotify)

Bruce Dillon is stepping out with “Paid in Full,” a remake of the Eric B. & Rakim classic that blends Southern style with a modern sound.

The track is produced by BlaqNmilD, a Grammy Award-winning producer from New Orleans’ 3rd Ward. Known for working with artists like Drake, he brings a sound shaped by the city’s mix of jazz, R&B, and hip-hop.

Before his rise in music, BlaqNmilD played in the marching band at John McDonogh High School and later worked as a DJ and promoter in New Orleans. That background adds a strong local feel to the record.

Dillon, also from New Orleans, is both an artist and the CEO of Best Thing Going Entertainment. With this release, he continues to build his name on both sides of the industry.

“Paid in Full” is already gaining attention, with spins on Shade 45 and New York City’s Power 105, showing early momentum for the track.
