The annual “The Breakfast Club Grammy Brunch,” hosted by multi-award-winning producer Bryan-Michael Cox, was more than a moment—it was a milestone. Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, the iconic gathering returned during GRAMMY Week as a powerful intersection of music, legacy, and purpose. This year’s milestone event was presented by LVMH and SESAC.
This year’s event honored two extraordinary forces in music, and whose impact continues to shape culture. Music publisher Walter Jones and recording artist Eric Roberson were celebrated for their enduring artistry, authenticity, and contributions to R&B and soul music.
This brunch also paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Jerrell Allen—a visionary music and lifestyle manager and marketing executive whose influence behind the scenes helped elevate countless creatives and brands. His presence was deeply felt, and his legacy stood at the center of the celebration.
In a meaningful expansion of its mission, the 2026 brunch partnered with HBCU Week as its philanthropic arm, transforming celebration into action. Through the generosity of attendees and supporters, the event successfully raised $50,000 to establish the Jerrell Allen Memorial Scholarship, ensuring that his commitment to education, mentorship, and opportunity will live on for future generations.
The room reflected the spirit of the occasion—intimate yet electric—filled with industry leaders, artists, tastemakers, and cultural architects. Notable attendees included Tank, Jon B, Teedra Moses, Estelle, Erik Sermon, Jermaine Dupri, Shyne Barrow, London On Da Track, Yo-Yo, Nefetari Spencer, Gabby Samone, Lauren LaRosa, Jimmy Allen, Algebra Blessett, and Algee Smith, among others. Each presence underscored the brunch’s reputation as a trusted space where artistry, community, and respect converge.
As The Breakfast Club enters into its next decade, the 2026 B. Cox Grammy Brunch reaffirmed why it has endured: and doesn’t just celebrate success, but it also honors legacy, uplifts community, and invests in the future. Twenty years in, the table remains full, the purpose is clearer than ever, and the impact is undeniable.
