Disney has released the new trailer for TRON: Ares, the third film in the TRON series, opening in theaters on Oct. 10. The movie follows Ares, a program sent from the digital world into the real world on an important mission.
The trailer gives a first look at the film’s story and visuals. It features the new song “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” by Nine Inch Nails. This is the band’s first new music in five years and their first original film score. The song adds energy that fits the film’s futuristic setting.
TRON: Ares is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, and others. The story explores humanity’s first encounter with artificial intelligence through the character of Ares.
Fans of the series and new viewers can expect action, technology, and a deeper look into the TRON world. The soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails will be released Sept. 19 through Interscope Records.
