Tiara Thomas, a Grammy and Oscar-winning singer-songwriter, has released a new single titled “Kiss Me,” marking her latest solo effort.
The track emerged from a late-night studio session with producer Dilemma, who helped shape its rhythmic foundation. Thomas described the recording process as spontaneous. “It was so simple, yet soulful, with a really interesting groove,” she said. “My goal with this one was just to create something fun and cute. I didn’t overthink the lyrics… I just wanted it to feel good.”
Thomas is known for co-writing H.E.R.’s “Damage” and Kaytranada and H.E.R.’s “Intimidated.” “Kiss Me” follows her 2023 single “Hit You Right Back,” which featured Tone Stith.
With this release, Thomas continues to explore themes of closeness and openness in her music, while maintaining her foundation in R&B.
