MOSES THE BLACK Starring Omar Epps, Wiz Khalifa, and Quavo Set for 2026 Release

A new feature titled MOSES THE BLACK is slated for a nationwide theatrical release on Jan. 30, 2026, bringing a story rooted in Chicago street life and the legacy of a fourth-century saint to the screen.

Omar Epps leads the film as Malik, a Chicago gang leader facing a turning point. Wiz Khalifa appears as 2wo-3ree, head of Malik’s younger crew, whose push for control places him in direct conflict with Straw, a rival figure played by Quavo. Chukwudi Iwuji portrays St. Moses the Black, whose historical account informs the film’s direction.

The cast also includes Corey Hendrix, Cliff Chamberlain, Ahmad Ferguson, Sambou “Bubba” Camara, Kierra Bunch, Skilla Baby, and former heavyweight boxing champion Deontay Wilder.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Wiz Khalifa, Omar Epps and others serve as executive producers. Wiz Khalifa also oversees the film’s music, with a soundtrack featuring Quavo.

The project follows what producers describe as “a Chicago gangster’s journey of reckoning,” drawing from the life of the saint known as Moses the Black.

The film opens in theaters nationwide early next year.
