Netflix Drops Official Trailer for Season 2 of Wednesday

Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 2 of Wednesday, teasing new mysteries, darker twists, and the return of Jenna Ortega as the sharp-witted Wednesday Addams.

Set to premiere in two parts, the second season will debut its first four episodes on Aug. 6, with the remaining episodes arriving Sept. 3. Ortega’s character returns to Nevermore Academy with a chilling vision: a premonition of her roommate Enid’s death. The trailer shows Wednesday pledging to stop the event—no matter the cost.

The new season features several additions to the cast, including Steve Buscemi as the school’s principal. Familiar faces from the Addams family, including Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley, are set to take on expanded roles. Guest appearances by Lady Gaga, Joanna Lumley, and Christopher Lloyd are also expected.

The series, executive produced by Tim Burton, Alfred Gough, and Miles Millar, shifts focus this season away from romantic subplots and toward deeper horror and supernatural themes.

Wednesday Season 2 continues the gothic coming-of-age story with heightened stakes and a new threat looming over Nevermore Academy.
