Grammy Award–winning R&B singer Q Parker has released a new single and video, Take It Off, continuing his “Evolution of Romance” series.
The song follows his earlier track Put It On and focuses on the shift from attraction to trust. The production is minimal, placing emphasis on Parker’s vocals and the theme of connection.
“‘Take It Off’ picks up where ‘Put It On’ left off, if that record sparked the dialogue, this one leans into the intimacy that follows,” Parker said. “Inspired by the timeless soul of Marvin Gaye, I wanted to create something grown and intentional. G. Visualz and I are three visuals deep into five collaborations on Evolution of Romance, and this one truly captures the mood of part two of the story.”
The video was directed by G. Visualz. It focuses on mood and closeness rather than large-scale production. The visual is the third in a planned five-part collaboration tied to the “Evolution of Romance” project.
With “Take It Off,” Parker continues to build a connected story centered on love and intimacy.
