Reaves’ 51-Point Performance Lifts Lakers Past Kings, 127-120

Austin Reaves delivered the best performance of his career Sunday night, scoring 51 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 127-120 victory over the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center.

Reaves, who also collected 11 rebounds and nine assists, carried the Lakers offensively and came within one assist of a triple-double. His 51 points mark a new career high and stand as one of the top single-game performances in the early NBA season.

Deandre Ayton added 22 points, 15 rebounds, and two assists for Los Angeles, providing steady interior production. Zach LaVine chipped in 32 points, including four 3-pointers, to round out a balanced Lakers attack that pushed their record to 2-1 on the season.

Sacramento, now 1-2, struggled to slow Reaves’ scoring burst despite strong efforts from its starting lineup. The Kings kept the game competitive but couldn’t overcome Los Angeles’ efficient shooting and rebounding advantage down the stretch.

The Lakers will look to build on the win as they continue their road trip, while the Kings aim to regroup and return to .500 in their next outing.
