Send Help: Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien Get Stranded and Must Fight for Survival, Opens Jan. 30

A new survival drama, Send Help, opens Jan. 30, with a story centered on two people forced to cooperate after a plane crash.

The film follows Linda Liddle (Rachel McAdams) and her boss, Bradley Preston (Dylan O’Brien), who reach an island after the crash and face a fight for survival. Cut off from contact and supplies, the pair must rely on skill, planning, and each other to stay alive.

According to the film’s description, “A woman and her overbearing boss become stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. They must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.”

The plot focuses on power, control, and trust as the two characters revisit their history while facing daily survival decisions. Leadership shifts as conditions change, pushing both to reassess roles formed before the crash.

Send Help positions survival as more than a test of endurance. The story turns on conflict, negotiation, and choice, with the island serving as the stage for a struggle that began long before the flight.

The movie opens nationwide Jan. 30.
