‘Slow Horses’ Returns Sept. 24 on Apple TV+, Watch Trailer

The espionage drama “Slow Horses” is set to return Sept. 24 on Apple TV+, continuing the story of a cast-off MI5 team led by the abrasive Jackson Lamb.

The series, based on Mick Herron’s novels, follows a group of British intelligence agents relegated to Slough House, a department where disgraced operatives are sent after career-ending mistakes. Despite their exile, the team is repeatedly drawn into national security crises.

In the new season, London faces new threats while Lamb and his squad of sidelined operatives find themselves pulled back into the agency’s most dangerous work. Apple describes the show as a “quick-witted spy drama” mixing office politics with high-stakes intelligence missions.

The ensemble cast features Gary Oldman as Lamb, alongside Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, and others reprising their roles.

“Slow Horses” first premiered in 2022 and has been renewed through multiple seasons, with Herron’s books continuing to provide the basis for its storylines.
