Oklahoma City beat Phoenix 138-89 on Wednesday night to open the NBA’s quarterfinal slate, and San Antonio followed with a 132-119 win over Los Angeles to advance to the Western Conference semifinal.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 28 points with eight assists for the Thunder. Phoenix played without Devin Booker, who was out with a groin issue.
In the late game, Spurs rookie Stephon Castle finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Luka Dončić led the Lakers with 35 points.
