Trailer Drops for “Naomi Osaka: The Second Set” Documentary

The trailer for “Naomi Osaka: The Second Set” has been released, offering a first look at the tennis star’s return to the court after becoming a mother.

The documentary follows Osaka as she resumes her career while raising her daughter, Shai. The film is directed by Kat Jayme, known for “The Grizzlie Truth,” “I’m Just Here for the Riot,” and “Finding Big Country.”

The project is produced by Hana Kuma, the media company founded by Osaka and Stuart Duguid, and Nike. Uninterrupted, part of Fulwell Entertainment and founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, also produced. James, Carter, Jamal Henderson, and Philip Byron are executive producers.

The film is described as a personal portrait of Osaka’s life on and off the court and a tribute to her daughter.
