Seattle artist Yonny is back with the Deluxe Edition of his sophomore project Everywhere, But Always. The release adds three new songs, including collaborations with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Ambré and Seattle producer Sango, who has worked with Drake, Frank Ocean, and Bryson Tiller.
“I Am” strips everything down to acoustic guitar and direct lyrics, giving listeners a personal message of resilience. Ambré joins Yonny on a remix of “Blue Door,” adding her smooth vocals to a fan favorite. The track “Jumbo Jet,” produced with Sango, arrives as a high-energy anthem and has already landed on Amazon’s Break Through Hip-Hop playlist.
This new edition builds on Yonny’s big year. The original Everywhere, But Always (2024) made waves with “City In Motion,” which passed 3 million streams. The album drew praise from local and national outlets, and Yonny’s partnership with Sounders FC through their Hometown campaign strengthened his connection to Seattle’s culture. Mundane Magazine described him as “a voice that speaks for a city often overlooked—putting Seattle on the map.”
To mark the one-year anniversary of the album, Yonny recently returned home for an intimate live show in Seattle. Backed by a full jazz band, he performed songs from the project and celebrated with the community that has supported him since the beginning.
Yonny’s early work, including Ghetto Sunset and the single “SK[I]NCARE” with Oble Reed, showed his talent for combining personal storytelling with sharp wordplay. With Everywhere, But Always (Deluxe), he continues to showcase that mix while carving out a place for himself as one of Seattle’s rising voices in hip-hop.
