The Weeknd and Adele took the highest number of awards.
As always, it was impossible to look away from expensive stylish outfits that celebrities have worn. Ciara got the most applause for her revealing outfit. Kelly Rowland hit everyone with her brilliance in the truest sense of the word.
This year’s ceremony was particularly grandiose. It was attended by such singers as Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Pink, Madonna. Each star has prepared a grand performance, Pink was flying against the backdrop of a huge clock, Britney Spears straddled the guitar and danced like she hasn’t been dancing for many years.
During the ceremony, there were a few particularly memorable performances. Stevie Wonder and Madonna paid tribute to Prince, and loving couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani impressed everyone with romantic songs.
Britney Spears had opened the show, and she was able to prove that she had enough power to come back to the first list of well-known personalities. This year she was awarded with Billboard Millennium Award Prize. Celine Dion won Icon Award, performing her memorable song. The prize was given to her by her fifteen-year-old son.
