Body Found in Singer D4vd’s Impounded Tesla Identified as Missing 15-Year-Old

Authorities have identified the body discovered inside a Tesla registered to singer D4vd as a 15-year-old girl who had been missing for months.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Tuesday that the victim was Celeste Rivas of Lake Elsinore, California. Rivas had been reported missing in April.

Police said her remains were found Sept. 8 in the front trunk of a Tesla that had been impounded in Hollywood. Workers at the tow lot contacted authorities after noticing a strong odor coming from the vehicle.

The teen’s cause of death has not been released.

According to TMZ, investigators noted that Rivas had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…” — a design also worn by D4vd. The similarity has fueled speculation online, though officials have not linked the tattoo to the circumstances of her death.

D4vd, whose full name is David Burke, has not been charged with a crime. Law enforcement has not said whether he is considered a suspect in the case.

Family members told media outlets they believe Rivas may have been in a relationship with someone she knew as “David.” Authorities have not confirmed that detail.

The case remains under investigation.
