An admitted audiophile, one of the best things about owning a media outlet is that I get the scoop on the latest apps, devices and stuff before my friends. So when I got the press kit on EQuala, I had to check it out for bragging rights alone.
I know you’re probably thinking – another audio app? What’s different about this one? Well, EQuaula allows you to adjust the influence of your “friends” on the fly. This is a great feature for me as most my friends listen to different styles of music and I listen to everything pending my mood.

Simply choose which friends to get music from by adding them to your EQualizer, move them left/right to decide whose music will play more frequently, and slide to play. Yea, it’s actually that easy!
Another great feature is that you can put your friends on the latest hit by using what EQuala calls “Commusicate” features. You can “love”, “shout”, “reshout” songs to let them know your thoughts and share your favorite songs. You can also expand your network to by adding more people which will give you a wider variety of music.
