Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival Returns to South Florida With The Wailers, Mr. Vegas, and More

The Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival returns to South Florida this weekend with The Wailers, Mr. Vegas, Romain Virgo, Destra, and others on the main stage, organizers said.

The festival is set for Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Miramar Regional Park. Tickets and information: www.jerkfestival.com.

Promoters said the event will again blend food, music, and Caribbean culture. The festival is billed as the largest Caribbean food festival in the United States and is presented by Publix and VP Records.

Headliners include Romain Virgo, Mr. Vegas, and Destra. The Wailers will perform songs from Bob Marley’s catalog. Virgo is known for “Soul Provider” and “Love Doctor.” Virgo was 17 when he won “Digicel Rising Stars.” Mr. Vegas is known for “Heads High,” “I Am Blessed,” and “Bruk It Down.” Destra Garcia is known as the “Queen of Bacchanal.”

Organizers said the festival will also support relief for hurricane victims in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. The festival has partnered with Connex Air Cargo and SSMC Xpress International Couriers to collect and ship supplies. Connex will airlift shipments into Kingston. SSMC Xpress International will coordinate logistics and consolidation in Florida.

Donation drop-off points will be located at the festival and at the SSMC Xpress International booth.

The festival schedule includes co-hosts Chef Irie Spice and Suzette Speaks, a Kids Culinary and Healthy Eating interactive area, Chef’s Throwdown with Chef Clay and Chef Rose, Celebrity Quick Fire Challenge with Konshens and Papa Keith, Influencer Quick Fire Challenge with Monica Garcia and Sky Princess, youth programming, cultural performances, and a Caribbean marketplace. Chef Travis Reece will serve as a celebrity judge.

The festival is supported by Grace Foods, Publix, VP Records, Agua +, Broward Cultural Division, Best Dressed Chicken, Island Car Rentals, Florida Power & Light, and Jamaican National Money.
