HUE Affair NYC Brings Black‑Owned Beauty Market to Metropolitan Pavilion Aug. 2–3, 2025

On Saturday, Aug. 2, and Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, the Metropolitan Pavilion at 110 West 19th Street, New York, NY 10011, will host HUE Affair, the premier beauty and lifestyle exposition serving the northeastern corridor. The two‑day event runs from 1 PM to 6 PM EDT each day.

HUE, which stands for Hair Unites Everyone, was founded to amplify the voices and economic impact of start‑ups and small Black‑owned businesses. Since its inception, the expo has grown into a platform that connects multicultural consumers with brands representing diverse textures, tones, and cultural experiences — with companies drawn from across the United States.

Participants can explore a curated marketplace featuring more than 50 vendors in beauty, hair, wellness, lifestyle, and related sectors. The expo includes interactive activations from leading brands, experiential installations designed for photo‑ready social media moments, and carefully assembled swag bags with products from Black‑owned, Black‑founded, and allied brands.

This year, HUE Affair returns during Black Business Month, offering shoppers direct access to brands in collaboration with sponsors such as CVS Pharmacy and tech partner MYAVANA — the latter providing on‑site hair analyses that deliver personalized insights and product recommendations.

In addition to shopping and consultations, attendees can enjoy live music curated by a DJ, new food‑alley offerings featuring bold small plates, and photo zones designed to elevate the interactive experience.

Nearly 1,000 guests are expected over the weekend. Admission begins at $25 for general admission, with VIP options available, including fast-track entry and guaranteed swag bags for early arrivals.
