Rapper JAY-Z has announced a third performance at Yankee Stadium following strong ticket demand that led two previously scheduled shows to sell out within minutes.
The newly added concert, titled “JAŸ-Z EXTRA INNINGS,” is set for Sunday, July 12.
The show follows earlier events branded “JAŸ-Z 30” and “JAŸ-Z 25,” which celebrate the anniversaries of his albums “Reasonable Doubt” and “The Blueprint.”
Organizers said the additional date gives fans another chance to attend what has been described as a rare series of large-scale performances tied to key milestones in the artist’s career.
JAY-Z already holds the record for the most sold-out performances at Yankee Stadium. The newly announced show extends that mark.
Tickets for the July 12 performance go on sale at 1 p.m. local time through LiveNation.
