Knicks Defeat Pacers 106-100 in Game 3; Indiana Leads Series 2-1

The New York Knicks earned a 106-100 win over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Pacers now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with 24 points, shooting 8-of-17 from the field and 3-of-7 from three-point range. He also recorded 15 rebounds and one assist. Towns was one of five Knicks players to score in double figures.

Jalen Brunson added 21 points for New York, shooting 6-of-18 overall and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line. Donte DiVincenzo contributed 17 points and six rebounds, while Josh Hart posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Isaiah Hartenstein added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting, including 2-of-8 from beyond the arc. He also recorded six assists and three rebounds. Myles Turner finished with 17 points and five rebounds. Andrew Nembhard and Pascal Siakam added 15 points apiece. T.J. McConnell came off the bench to score 10 points.

New York outrebounded Indiana 52-44 and held the Pacers to 31.3 percent shooting from three-point range. The Knicks led by as many as 12 points and committed 12 turnovers to Indiana’s 10.

Game 4 is scheduled for Tuesday in Indianapolis.
