Media personality Peter Rosenberg is expanding his career into television, taking on a creator and executive producer role for a new comedy in development at Hulu, according to a report from Deadline.
The half-hour series, titled Double or Nothing, centers on a washed-up yacht-rock musician who finds an unexpected path back to relevance. He partners with an ambitious young rapper, and the two set out to produce a defining album for both of their careers.
Rosenberg joins an executive producing team that includes Mark Ronson, along with Theodore Bressman and Neel Shah. The project is being developed by Hulu and produced by 20th Television.
The move marks Rosenberg’s first step into television production. He is widely known for his work across ESPN and WWE, as well as his role on The Ebro, Laura, Rosenberg Show.
The series remains in development, with no release date announced.
