Instagram is a fast, free and easy way to share beautiful photos with friends and family.  Any and everything gets a chance to make its way onto newsfeeds with a simple click of a button and the help of filters. Users have taken to Instagram to post daily shots of food, beverages, outfits and more. When is too much, too much though? Take a look at our top ten lists of things that should not get posted on Instagram.  We really think some things should be left private.

1) “Selfies” – especially from men. We appreciate your confidence and all but it’s really not cute.

2) Ordinary food – unless it’s spectacular, don’t clog our news feed with your dollar menu items.

3) Children – We’re following you, not your kid … and keep that off Facebook too. Your kid in the tub should be private.

4) Tweegrams – If you want to share your thoughts, use Twitter or Facebook. Leave Instagram for photos.

5) Bathroom shots – Bathroom mirror pictures should have died with MySpace. Keep that off our news feed. Actually, anything with you in the bathroom should not get posted.

6) Nails & Feet – We don’t get it. You changed your polish from red to pink… okay?

7) Flex Pictures – Yes, you joined the gym. We see that and we’re proud of you but we don’t need to see you flexin’. You don’t look hard, tough, or sexy. You look like a self-absorbed tool with too much time on your hands.

8) Coffee – We get it, you drink Starbucks. In fact, millions of people do. What makes your one particular cup of mocha so special that it has to get posted? It’s not special. But thanks for helping fuel our economy by buying over-priced coffee.

9) Overusing filters – Not everything is considered art regardless of how cool the filter makes it look.

10) Traffic photos – We all sit in traffic. If you hate it so much, why are you photographing it?
