Steph Curry’s Basketball Resume is Missing This One Piece

Even in the off-season, Steph Curry has basketball on his mind. Recently, Curry sat down with ESPN’s, Malika Andrews, for an NBA on ESPN special.

We all know how long Curry’s list of accomplishments is, from nine All-Star appearances, nine All-NBA selections, two MVPs, and four NBA championships, he’s nearly checked off all the boxes. But one thing he hasn’t done yet is put on a Team USA jersey. It’s hard to fathom that one of the greatest shooters ever hasn’t played at the Olympic level and won a gold medal.

Indeed, the time will come, especially with the 2024 Olympics nearly right around the corner. And with Coach Kerr taking the lead next year, having Curry on the roster makes even more sense.

“That’s the one piece of the resume [Steve Kerr] always likes to joke that I don’t have, so he’s already recruiting for next summer. I’m rooting the guys on in the world cup this year, I know they will represent the USA well and take him gold. I have no idea what next summer looks like and it’s obviously an extra bonus that coach Kerr is leading that charge. I’d love to play for him any day of the week, so we’ll see how it goes come summer 2024.”
