Taliwhoah is entering a new chapter with “Get It Up,” an Afro-fusion single that puts confidence, desire, and self-expression at the center of the conversation.
Driven by an up-tempo rhythm and a dark, hypnotic groove, the track blends R&B melodies with Afro-fusion influences while giving the singer space to reveal a side of herself that has largely remained private.
For Taliwhoah, “Get It Up” represents more than a shift in sound. The record reflects a growing comfort with speaking openly about femininity, attraction, and personal desire without allowing shame to dictate how those feelings are expressed.
“The song explores a sensual side of femininity that I have often kept private,” Taliwhoah said. “As I’ve grown, using my voice has increasingly meant saying what is on my mind without filtering myself through shame.”
That sense of freedom drives the song’s message. Rather than soften or conceal her perspective, Taliwhoah uses the track to embrace ownership of her wants and the confidence to communicate them.
“‘Get It Up’ reflects that freedom: owning my desires and no longer being afraid to express them out loud,” she said.
The single also points toward the direction of Taliwhoah’s next phase as an artist, bringing together rhythm, melody, and personal storytelling while allowing for a more unfiltered approach to songwriting.
With “Get It Up,” Taliwhoah is making it clear that this chapter will be defined on her own terms.
