Thandiwe Newton is set to appear on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday, Jan. 5, where she discusses the early stage of her acting career, including working with Nicole Kidman at the beginning of her time in film.
During the interview, Newton also shares a personal recollection of Tupac Shakur, describing an aspect of the late rapper that, she says, was not widely known.
Newton additionally talks about her role in the upcoming film Anaconda, in which she stars opposite Jack Black.
She explains her experience working in a comedy setting, including improvising with the cast, and says the role required her to step beyond her usual approach to acting.
