Houston rap veteran Trae Tha Truth has teamed up with rising artist Vory for a new single titled “The Gathering,” released Friday.
The track brings together Trae’s Southern-influenced lyrical style and Vory’s melodic trap-soul sound, marking a notable collaboration between two generations of hip-hop.
Trae, long known for his work with major artists including J. Cole, DMX, Busta Rhymes, and Future, continues to support new talent while staying grounded in the Houston music scene. “The Gathering” signals his latest effort to bridge established voices with emerging ones.
The release sets the tone for their upcoming project, Angel, due out June 13. “The Gathering” is now available on major streaming platforms.
