Under Armour Names Steph Curry President of Curry Brand

The decade-long relationship between Stephen Curry and Under Armour just leveled up. Today, Under Armour revealed the next phase of their partnership with the NBA All-Star (and arguably one of the greatest shooters of all time) — Curry is now the President of the Curry Brand. Curry will not only continue to contribute to the overall growth of the UA brand but also expand his own. He will serve in an advisory role that focuses on Under Armour’s brand marketing, and the expansion of its roster of athletes.

The exact terms of the partnership have not been disclosed, but the dollar amount attached to it is said to be one of the “richest-ever” endorsement deals in sports.

“If the past 10 years have shown me anything, it’s that Under Armour and I can build great things together. It’s all about impacting athletes and creating products that perform and resonate with them, and Under Armour does it best. In 2013, we bet on each other, and I’m all in on taking this next step together.”

Over the years, Under Armour has released 10 signature shoes with Curry, which led to the launch of the Curry Brand in 2020. The Curry Brand has made impactful contributions to the community including 10 refurbished courts, 2500 coaches trained, and over 72,000 young athletes being positively impacted.

Curry has goals to make even more impactful initiatives under his leadership. As president of the Curry Brand, he looks to renovate 20 safe places for young aspiring athletes to play, train an additional 15,000 coaches, and support at least 125 programs that directly support over 100,000 youth. Curry hopes to accomplish this by 2025.
