Supermodel and entrepreneur Winnie Harlow opened up about her surprise engagement to fiancé Kyle Kuzma during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show airing Monday, May 11.
Harlow recalled how what she believed was a romantic vacation in Turks and Caicos turned into a heartfelt proposal surrounded by family after Kuzma presented her with an emotional letter.
The model also discussed the strength of their relationship, saying their playful chemistry and support for each other’s bold style choices keep them connected.
Beyond her personal life, Harlow spoke candidly about representation, resilience, and overcoming rejection. She shared how a recent moment tied to inclusion moved her to tears and said she refuses to let “no” define her future.
Harlow also highlighted her children’s book, Simply Winnie, which encourages children to see representation as natural rather than different. She reflected on her entrepreneurial journey, including building an inclusive skincare brand and speaking at Harvard Business School, while also revealing how a chance meeting led to a friendship with Shakira.
