2024 NBA All-Star Starters Revealed

The 2024 NBA All-Star Starters have been revealed and many names come as no surprise. It was also nearly a given that Lebron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo would be named captains. Reverting to the original All-Star format, Lebron will lead the West while Giannis leads the East. Joining them for the 73rd NBA All-Star Game, taking place on Feb. 18, is an elite line-up of the League’s best. Out West, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will join Lebron James. Rounding out the remaining four starting spots out East will be Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Tyrese Haliburton, and Damian Lillard.

The starters were selected by fans, current NBA players, and a media panel – with fans accounting for 50 percent of the vote. After all votes were tallied, players were ranked in each conference by position. Scores were then calculated by averaging a player’s weighted rank from fan votes, player votes, and media votes.

The NBA All-Star reserves will be announced on Thursday, February 1st at 7 p.m. ET. As for the 14 reserves, they will be selected by all 30 NBA coaches.  Commissioner, Adam Silver, will be tasked with selecting the replacement for any player unable to participate.
