Iyanla Vanzant to Bring ‘Spiritual Hygiene: The Inside Fix’ to Kings Theatre

New York Times bestselling author, spiritual teacher, life coach, and television host Iyanla Vanzant will return to her native Brooklyn for “Spiritual Hygiene: The Inside Fix” at Kings Theatre on Friday, Nov. 6.

The event, scheduled for 7:30 p.m., is inspired by Vanzant’s new book, “Spiritual Hygiene: A Practical Path for Clean Living, Inner Authority, and Divine Freedom.”

The program will explore mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being through teaching, conversation, storytelling, reflection, and audience participation. Vanzant will also discuss ways people can release emotional burdens, establish boundaries, practice forgiveness, and develop routines centered on self-reflection and personal growth.

Vanzant describes spiritual hygiene as the practice of caring for mental, emotional, and spiritual health with the same consistency people apply to physical hygiene.

“Spiritual Hygiene: The Inside Fix” will expand on those principles by offering attendees tools they can incorporate into their daily lives while examining patterns that may interfere with healing and personal development.

Vanzant has written several bestselling books and is known for hosting and executive producing the OWN television series “Iyanla: Fix My Life.” Her work has focused on relationships, emotional healing, accountability, forgiveness, and personal change.

The Brooklyn appearance also marks a homecoming for Vanzant, who was born in the borough and has built a career spanning publishing, television, public speaking, and personal development.

Doors at Kings Theatre, 1027 Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn, will open at 6:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster and the Kings Theatre box office. Additional information is available through Kings Theatre.
