Chef2Nite Launches to Bring Private Dining to More Homes

Chef2Nite, a new Black-owned platform, is aiming to make private dining more accessible by connecting home event hosts with vetted local chefs. The chef-host matching tool is designed to take the guesswork out of booking a personal chef, offering customized dining experiences that cater to a range of budgets and tastes.

“At Chef2Nite, we want to make private dining accessible to everyone,” said founder Kelly Lyles Verstappen. “We believe people from all walks of life should be able to enjoy fine dining at a private event, not just the ultra-wealthy.”

The platform features a built-in chef-matching system that pairs hosts with ideal candidates based on their event needs. After selection, chefs collaborate directly with hosts to build personalized menus. All bookings include full pricing transparency, scheduling flexibility, and curated options based on dietary preferences.

Chef2Nite is also built with chefs in mind, offering tools that support business growth, guaranteed payments, consistent bookings, and flexible work schedules.

The company enters a growing space that includes Airbnb’s recent expansion into luxury dining experiences. Chef2Nite’s goal is to become the go-to platform for personalized private dining—where hospitality meets technology without losing the human touch.
