The stars of CBS’ The Neighborhood — Cedric the Entertainer, Tichina Arnold, Beth Behrs, Max Greenfield, Sheaun McKinney, and Marcel Spears — stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show on Monday, Oct. 13, to celebrate the upcoming eighth and final season of their hit sitcom.
Fans of the long-running comedy were treated to plenty of laughter as the cast reflected on their years together. They shared stories from the set, favorite moments from filming, and the close friendships that have formed both on and off screen. Cedric the Entertainer, who also serves as an executive producer, spoke about how meaningful the show’s impact has been for audiences and its legacy of community and connection.
Arnold and Behrs added humor with tales of behind-the-scenes mishaps, while Greenfield and Spears hinted that a few souvenirs might quietly make their way home from the set as the series wraps production.
The cast also teased appearances by Tracy Morgan and possibly even Jennifer Hudson in the show’s final season, keeping fans eager for what’s to come.
To wrap up their visit, Hudson joined the group for a lighthearted “Neighbor Etiquette” game that tested who among them would make the best (and worst) real-life neighbor.
As The Neighborhood prepares to close its doors, the episode served as a warm reminder of why the series has connected with audiences — through humor, heart, and a celebration of community.
