Nicki Minaj Continues MAGA Pivot, Promotes Trump Child Investment Program

Nicki Minaj appeared in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to support the Trump administration’s new investment accounts for children, demonstrating her continued public support for President Donald Trump.

Minaj joined Trump onstage at the Trump Accounts Summit after he invited her and Kevin O’Leary to appear. She addressed criticism over her new political stance.

“I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan, and that’s not going to change,” she said. “The hate — or what people have to say—it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.”

She added, “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him. He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?”

Her unexpected support of Donald Trump has led to backlash, with many on social media accusing the hip-hop star, who has been in the United States illegally, of selling out the Black and LGBTQIA+ communities to avoid deportation.

Soon after expressing her loyalty, she reportedly obtained a Trump Gold Card, which offers a streamlined path to U.S. lawful permanent residency and eventual citizenship for foreign nationals who significantly contribute to the U.S. government.

A $1 million gift and a $15,000 processing fee are prerequisites for the program, according to official information.

According to CNBC, Minaj also plans to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to Trump Accounts, a program created under Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”

Minaj announced her involvement earlier this week on X, calling the initiative “The true meaning of paying it forward.”
