Amazon Music and A$AP Rocky announced the release of his episode in the “Songline” series, along with a companion album available only on the platform.
The film is now streaming on Prime Video and on YouTube via the artist’s official channel. The full “Songline” album is exclusive to Amazon Music.
The episode first aired earlier this year during Yams Day. It features an eight-song performance where A$AP Rocky debuts material from his album Don’t Be Dumb. The production blends music and narrative, presenting a stylized storyline in which the artist orchestrates the theft of the head of the Statue of Liberty.
The film adopts a cinematic approach, using the new tracks as a score that drives the plot forward. The performance includes orchestral elements and appearances from members of the A$AP Mob collective. It also honors A$AP Yams, marking 11 years since his death and recognizing his role in shaping the group’s direction.
Presented in the signature “Songline” format, the release functions as a director’s cut of the original livestream. It includes added commentary from A$AP Rocky, offering insight into his creative process and artistic direction.
