Cardi B Seeks New Court Sanctions Against Tasha K

Rapper Cardi B has returned to court in her long-running legal battle with blogger Tasha K, accusing the commentator of violating a non-disparagement agreement tied to their earlier defamation case.

New court filings allege that Tasha K, whose legal name is Latasha Kebe, continued discussing Cardi B and people connected to her despite terms established during bankruptcy proceedings tied to the rapper’s multimillion-dollar judgment.

The dispute stems from Cardi B’s 2022 defamation victory, when a jury awarded the Grammy-winning artist nearly $4 million after finding Tasha K liable for spreading false claims online. Following the judgment, Tasha K filed for bankruptcy protection, and both sides later agreed to a reduced repayment structure that reportedly included a non-disparagement clause.

According to recent filings, Cardi B’s legal team argues that the infamous vlogger breached that agreement through livestream commentary referencing rapper Offset and alleged gambling problems. Attorneys for Cardi B claim the remarks violated court-approved restrictions that barred further public commentary about the artist and her family.

A judge ruled this week in the rapper’s favor on an enforcement request tied to the dispute, ordering Tasha K to pay attorney fees and remove online content connected to the allegations, according to multiple reports.

Cardi B’s attorney, Lisa Moore, is also pushing for a larger penalty. The rapper’s legal team is seeking reinstatement of the original judgment amount, arguing that repeated violations should void the revised repayment agreement.

Tasha K has publicly addressed the latest courtroom setback during livestreams, acknowledging the ruling while maintaining that she intends to continue fighting the case.
