Augustine Ume-Ezeoke’s Professional Fitness Career Started w/ Football

Augustine Ume-Ezeoke is a Nigerian-born, Dallas-raised, former football player who turned his love for athletics into a lifelong career in fitness and training. Upon retiring from football, a game he played for 26 years, Augustine knew he still wanted to stay in the game. He’d be on the other side of the whistle this time around. Getting his start coaching football at the University of Nebraska, Augustine split time coaching between Nebraska and Austin State.

In the last 15 years of his professional career, he’s shifted his focus to fitness. Helping people, both athletes and the “general population,” in creating healthy lifestyles, Augustine is committed to his mission. Having worked as a physical therapist assistant and a corporate personal trainer, fitness became his full-time job.

As a professional trainer, he’s worked with the likes of Bryce Young (Carolina Panthers), CJ Okoye (LA Chargers), Avious Griffin (professional boxer), and more.

His philosophy is to believe in your process, which he discusses in our exclusive interview. Check it out below!
