Durham-based R&B/Soul artist BeMyFiasco, known for her acclaimed debut album Where I Left You in late 2021, has been busy since then collaborating with Phonte Coleman on music for IFC’s Sherman’s Showcase and contributing vocals and songwriting to various albums, including Rory’s I Thought It’d Be Different, Rapper Big Pooh’s To Dream In Color, Oddisee’s To What End, and Misha’s Radiant. Amidst these ventures, BeMyFiasco has been diligently crafting her sophomore album.

BeMyFiasco makes a triumphant return with her latest single, “Don’t Wanna Be Your Lover,” showcasing her soaring vocals. Released via +FE Music/EMPIRE and available on major digital platforms, the track is a departure for the artist, marking her debut as a producer. Collaborating with Zo! and Tall Black Guy, BeMyFiasco infuses the song with euphoric energy, bringing her creative vision to life both lyrically and musically.

“This was the first time I got to bring not only a lyrical idea to life but a musical one as well.
