Hip-hop artist Baron Von Alias is back with his latest single, “And The Story Goes…,” a reflective track about storytelling, legacy, and the impact people leave behind.
Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Khrysis, the song features Skyzoo, Masta Ace, Smif-N-Wessun, and Darien Brockington. DJ A.D.S. also contributes cuts to the track.
Built around boom-bap production, “And The Story Goes…” looks at how stories can live on through music, words, and actions. The song suggests that even after a moment has passed, what people create can continue to influence others.
The single is also connected to Baron Von Alias’ larger Bootstrap Paradox project, which explores ideas tied to time, personal journeys, and legacy.
“From the beginning, I’ve always seen this project as a journey, and The Hero’s Journey is something that really resonates with the story I’m telling through Baron Von Alias and the whole Bootstrap Paradox project,” Baron Von Alias said.
He said his verse focuses on what it means to create something that can continue beyond the artist.
“For me, that’s the ultimate goal: to make music that becomes part of your legacy, so that long after the journey has ended, the story is still being told,” he said. “Because as long as the story continues, in some way, the legend lives on.”
With several respected hip-hop artists joining the record, “And The Story Goes…” blends classic production with a message about memory, influence, and the stories people leave for the next generation.
