Former Strong Arm Executive J’Von “4Mill” Thomas Files Lawsuit Over Business Dealings Connected to Flo Rida

Music executive, producer, and engineer J’Von James “4Mill” Thomas has sued former business partner Lee Tyrone “Freezy” Prince and a group of companies tied to their years working around rapper Flo Rida’s business operations.

Thomas filed the complaint April 16 in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court against Prince and more than 30 entities, including Strong Arm Management Inc. and Strong Arm Productions USA Inc. The lawsuit alleges breach of fiduciary duty, demands an accounting, and raises claims related to alleged interference with business relationships.

Thomas previously served as a vice president of Strong Arm Management and Strong Arm Productions USA, according to Florida corporate records. Those records also list Flo Rida, whose legal name is Tramar Dillard, and Prince in leadership roles with the companies.

Strong Arm Productions USA has previously been identified in Florida court records as Flo Rida’s management company. In a separate case involving Celsius Holdings, a Florida appeals court described Strong Arm as the company Dillard used to help manage and promote his career.

In the Miami-Dade lawsuit, Thomas alleges he played a role in Flo Rida’s career through management, recording, engineering, production, touring, and artist development.

The complaint says revenue was generated through recordings, publishing, touring, merchandise, licensing, endorsements, and other business ventures connected with Flo Rida. Thomas alleges he repeatedly sought access to financial records and accounting information but did not receive a complete accounting.

According to the lawsuit, an audit later identified accounts that Thomas alleges received revenue connected with Flo Rida-related business. Thomas claims information gathered during the audit and other underlying financial records were withheld from him.

The claims have not been proven in court.

Thomas also accuses Prince of interfering with business relationships that Thomas pursued after their partnership deteriorated. The lawsuit alleges false criminal information about Thomas was circulated to third parties and that the information actually concerned another person.

Thomas alleges that claims about supposed pending felony charges eventually reached people connected to Flo Rida’s organization and contributed to the loss of a corporate performance opportunity and other business.

Prince and the other defendants have not been found liable for the allegations.

Thomas is seeking a court-ordered accounting as well as damages he claims are tied to unpaid or underpaid compensation, lost commissions, lost profits, and lost business opportunities. The lawsuit also seeks disgorgement or restitution where permitted by law.

The complaint names Strong Arm Management, Strong Arm Productions USA, Strong Arm Touring, Strongarm Radio, International Music Group, and numerous other companies among the defendants. Public Florida corporate records show Prince has been associated with several of those entities.

Flo Rida is not named as a defendant in the lawsuit, and the complaint does not accuse him of wrongdoing.

The case is J’Von James Thomas v. Lee Tyrone Prince, et al., filed in the Circuit Court for the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County.
