The “Lemonade” songstress was forced to postpone her first stop on her second leg of the Formation World Tour after being put on vocal rest.
If you recall during the MTV Video Music Awards, after performing her 15-minute set, she accepted the award for “Best Female Video” and during her speech, she sounded hoarse.
She quickly said thank you in order to save what voice she had left.
MetLife Stadium broke the news, just hours after the singer’s 35th birthday that she will not be able to play her scheduled show at the east Rutherford, New Jersey venue on Sept 7.
The show has been rescheduled for Oct. 7. Fans do have an opportunity to have their money refunded.
Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment apologized for any inconvenience.
