The Fresh & Fit podcast is receiving plenty of backlash after kicking Asian Doll out during a taping of their show, especially now that a few video clips of them belittling Black women in general have resurfaced.
Not only did the boys from Fresh and Fit lean heavily into sexist and colorists tropes and stereotypes, they audaciously specifically targeted Black women-dark complexioned Black women.
One of the crudest and most demeaning comments was when one of the sexually insecure male chauvinists, Fit (Myron Gaines declare he doesn’t dabble in the dark, date Sheniquas, and they’re not into night-riders.
“Me and Fresh [Walter Weekes] aren’t really down with the brown like that, being night riders. Sometimes if they’re redbone, but I mean, in general, me and Fresh don’t dabble in the dark, if you know what I mean.”
Ironically, to which his dark complexioned co-host Weekes inconceivably co-signed. He defended his condescending remarks by putting a spin on whole “I’m not a racist, I have Black friends” cop-out.
“My mom’s Black, my sister’s Black, like bro, we just have a preference.”
How proud must those family members be knowing his views on women who look like them.
