Sunday night, the Lakers and the Trail Blazers faced off in Portland, in what was projected to be an eventful match-up. It surely lived up to the hype. It all came down to the fourth quarter, with LA headed for a win, when things took a turn. Not offensively or defensively, but personally. The Lakers’ highly vocal guard, Patrick Beverly, did what he did best.. troll. All throughout the game, Pat & Damian Lillard went at it. Cue in the second quarter while Dame was shooting a free throw and Pat had a couple of things to get off his chest. We all saw what transpired after that.
Eventually, Pat would check out of the game but not before mocking Dame and his “Dame Time” celebration.

Pat Bev continued to troll straight through the fourth quarter, and there was no shame in his game. In a post-game interview, he said, “If he would have cooked me, you would have said I couldn’t guard him. But he misses a couple shots and it’s a slow shooting night. Nah, just say I did a good job on Dame. It sound better.”
Not even 24 hours after the game, the on-court beef somehow made its way to social media. Dame put his Twitter fingers to use and responded to a video of Bev’s post-game quote, calling him a “con man.”
