DELEÓN Tequila has launched the DELEÓN Tequila Opening Acts Pledge, a program designed to support up-and-coming DJs with mentorship, exposure, and resources to help them grow. Expanding on its Bold Spirits, Rise platform, DELEÓN is teaming up with BET Media Group and other cultural leaders to create career-changing opportunities.
As part of the initiative, one standout DJ will perform on the BET Awards 2025 red carpet, gaining exposure in front of industry professionals and tastemakers.
“With the DELEÓN Tequila Opening Acts Pledge, we’re not just supporting rising DJs, we’re offering them the tools, access, and platforms to take their sound further,” said Ari Anderman, DELEÓN Tequila Brand Director.
The program also partners with Andre Power’s Link Up, a music collective that highlights emerging talent. Link Up events in Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles will feature local DJs performing, building their audience, and receiving mentorship from Andre Power himself.
“Link Up is about giving rising DJs that shot and putting them in spaces where they can showcase their talent, connect with new crowds and grow their careers,” said Power.
DELEÓN is also collaborating with UnitedMasters, offering 1,000 subscriptions to its SELECT tier, which provides music distribution, brand-building tools, and direct industry connections. Additionally, DELEÓN is giving 500 hours of premium studio time in Los Angeles and New York City, along with mentorship from industry leaders.
DJs 25 and older can enter now through April 14, 2025, for a chance to perform at the BET Awards on June 9. The winner will also participate in an exclusive content shoot on May 12.
